My mom asked me if I wanted a themed birthday party, so I jokingly told her “drag queens,” thinking that at the most, she’d put a picture of RuPaul on a cake and call it good.
Her vision was a little different than mine. Instead, she put makeup and jewelry on a Ken doll and stuck him in a cake.
We named him Roxxy Codone. He was delicious red velvet goodness.
